Brazil is the world's largest sugar cane producer. Brazilian annual cane production is approximately 400 million tonnes. While cane volume does vary from season to season, Brazil's cane production is significantly higher than the world's second largest raw sugar exporter, Australia, whose annual cane production is approximately 35 million tonnes.
